Thom Igwe-Walker

LAND is a series of five booklets containing selected poems by the artist and writer Thom Walker. The work focuses on the personal ways we negotiate our physical and sensory experience of the landscapes around us (most frequently featured are those of northern England and Scotland).
 
This series of booklets brings together over 50 poems from the past year and a half, grouping them into themes: ‘Air & Electricity’, ‘Water-core, ‘Land’, ‘Dreams & Limbs’ and finally ‘Colne,’ a set of new poems written in response to the area in West Yorkshire where the writer grew up.
