Taking place in the Navigation Warehouse, located within the Wakefield Waterfront redevelopment, Interior Lightning was a group exhibition of works produced by staff members from the Hepworth Wakefield.

 

The exhibition showcased the broad variety of creative practices and approaches that have been brought together by the opening of the Hepworth. The works spread across Painting, Photography, Drawing, Installation, Sculpture, Tex- tiles, Writing and Music.

Thom Walker's work was based on the scientific importance of observing the Transit of Venus, which historically was used to attempt to calculate the distance of the Earth to the Sun.
