Thom Walker and Michael Kent began making collaborative drawings in 2008, based on a shared love of drawing with similar interests and sympathies toward geological and organic form. The initial premise was to to create drawings using only black indian ink and to not draw any objects directly from reality. While these 'guidelines' have relaxed over the years the importance of turn taking in the production of the works remains a key factor.
